Research Log

Historians!

Objective: Start and build up your Research Log to keep track of research and notes.

You will turn in this Research Log along with your independent project. A research log is a way to keep track of your sources and notes. Follow the format below to keep track of where you found sources. Remember you must have an interview or survey as a part of your project. Notes from your interview or survey must be included in your Research Log.

You should have started an “Independent Project” folder on your desktop. Keep all documents and online assignments from this project in that folder. If you did not create that folder do it now!

NOTE: Do not wait until the end of the semester to print your Research Log. After each day of work print your notes/sources and keep them together. You are limited to ten pages a day.

Reminder: Mr. Hoselton is recording how well you use this time in the computer lab. Do not waste your time. If you do not meet the deadline of turning in this project and I have recorded a lack of productivity no extensions will be permitted.
