Nuclear Waste!

Greetings Geographers!

Here is the scenario. The fictional nuclear power plant in Winnipeg, Canada just caught fire and leaked radiation all over our region. That is bad news for us. What do we do with the radioactive waste?

Would this accident prevent you from going outside, enjoying milk, walking downtown, and playing in the rain?

Something similar happened on April 26th, 1986. Chernobyl, Ukraine was run by the Soviet Union and operated a nuclear power plant. The reactor caught fire and started leaking massive amounts of radiation. Watch the video below.
